New Year New Me?-1/14/20

To whom it may concern,

It’s a new year so it’s a new me. Right? Not quite. This blog is going to get personal but no one reads it so I think it’s ok.

About a month ago I started on a mild anti-depressant. I was never officially diagnosed but the doctor prescribed it and I trust him. It’s helped a lot. Medication isn’t always for everyone but it worked for me. The only thing I really don’t like about it is my need to talk. Before I was content sitting and listening, but now it feels like I need to talk or I should be talking and I really don’t like that.

Christmas is over, the play is over, my college class is over, and my junior year is almost over. I’m so ready to move on with my life it’s kind of killing me. I just want to be somewhere else and not in high school. I told a guy at rehearsal one night that I was going to quit high school and go to college. I was joking because I know that I can’t drop out. However, he took me completely seriously. He said I could just drop out go to night school and get my GED. Clearly, he didn’t know I was joking or the amount of anxiety failing high school gives me.

Although in happy news I just got a cat. She is adorable. She’s all black with green eyes. We named her Loki because she whines when you don’t pet her, she runs around, and stabs you with her claws.

So to the 0 people that read this blog wish me luck. It’s exam week. There’s nothing like exam week to make you do all the things you were procrastinating doing. Speaking of I’m currently writing this instead of studying.

I’m dead.

Sincerely,

Cecelia Elizabeth.
